    Connect your Ofox account and choose an installed, supported coding client.

After setup, verify your first Ofox request

  1. Check your balance and the selected model’s price, then send the test prompt in a fresh session.
  2. Match the time, model, API key, status and charge in your Ofox request details.
  3. If no record matches, check the provider, model and configuration. Existing environment variables or sessions may still point to another service.

Ofox Desktop is free to download. Model requests are billed at the applicable rates.

Does the free download include free model usage?

No. Downloading the client is free; model requests use your Ofox account and the applicable model pricing. Check your balance and the model price before making requests.

What if my coding client is not detected?

Check that it is installed and supported. Use the integration documentation to review its configuration. If a configuration change fails, use the backup and restore option shown in Desktop.

How should I choose a model?

Start with your task, budget and required capabilities. Use the model finder to shortlist models, then test with your own workload. A recommendation is not a guarantee of task quality.
